Professor Sunny Lee is the Board Chairman of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited. Professor Lee is a veteran in innovation and technology leadership, with over 40 years of experience in business and technology management in Hong Kong and abroad.

Professor Lee is an independent non-executive director of MTR Corporation Limited, BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited and SUNeVision Holdings Ltd. He is an Adjunct Professor of City University of Hong Kong’s Academy of Innovation.

Over his distinguished tech-focused career across multiple sectors, Professor Lee is the former Vice President (Administration) of the City University of Hong Kong, responsible for a portfolio of central administration functions. He was Executive Director, Information Technology (IT) for the Hong Kong Jockey Club and Chief Information Officer of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, with overall responsibility for IT strategy and innovation. Previously, he was Vice President and Systems Director of Bank of America in Hong Kong, where he was instrumental in building up the bank’s IT capabilities to support its business expansion in Asia. Professor Lee has also held key IT positions in the financial, management consulting and manufacturing industries in the US.

Professor Lee serves in many governing and advisory committees in academic, professional and community arena. He is a member of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, an Ex-officio Member of Committee on Innovation, Technology and Industry Development of the HKSAR, Convenor of the HKSAR Electoral Affairs Commission’s Technical Advisory Committee, Non-official Member of Advisory Committee on the Northern Metropolis of the HKSAR. He is a Council Member of Hong Kong Management Association, Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) and Vice President of Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association (HKPASEA). He is a Council member of Cornell University and serves on the governing board of Diocesan Boys’ School and Canadian International School.

Professor Lee is a Fellow of Hong Kong Management Association, Distinguished Fellow of Hong Kong Computer Society, a Chartered IT Professional of The British Computer Society, a Fellow of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, a Chartered Engineer of United Kingdom Engineering Council and a Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Directors.

Professor Lee is a graduate of Cornell University where he studied for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering.

Professor Nisa Leung is founding Managing Partner at Aulis Capital. She served as Managing Partner at Qiming Venture Partners, where she founded and led the firm's healthcare practice since 2006. Under her leadership, Qiming became a pioneering investor in healthcare and biotech sectors, backing some of the most innovative companies in the industry.

Professor Leung has been consistently recognized as one of the most influential investors in the industry. She has been featured on the Forbes Midas List for seven consecutive years (2019–2025). In 2024, she was honored as one of Fortune Asia’s Most Powerful Women (MPW Asia).

Professor Leung has invested in and served as a board director for numerous leading healthcare and life sciences companies. Prior to joining Qiming, Professor Leung was co-founder of Biomedic Holdings with operations and investments in medical devices, pharmaceuticals and health care services including Novamed Pharmaceuticals (acquired by SciClone NASDAQ:SCLN) and U-Systems (acquired by GE Healthcare). Nisa was Venture Partner of PacRim Ventures in Menlo Park and was previously with Softbank/ Mobius Venture Capital.

Professor Leung earned her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS from Cornell University. She is visiting lecturer at Harvard Law School, a trustee of the Hotchkiss School, serves as a member of the Hong Kong University Court, Cornell University International Advisory Council and Stanford University International Advisory Council.

Professor Peter Wong is the Managing Director of the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited. Professor Wong joined the Group in 1997, initially as its Financial Controller. Since 2002, he has been deeply involved in the development of the Group’s mainland utilities business. Professor Wong was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company in February 2013 and as Deputy Managing Director of the Company in April 2021, and has been Managing Director with effect from 6th June 2022.

Professor Wong holds directorships in various subsidiaries of the Group. He is also an Executive Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Towngas Smart Energy Company Limited, and a director and the Vice Chairman of Shenzhen Gas Corporation Ltd. and Foran Energy Group Co., Ltd. All of the above companies are listed public companies.

Professor Wong was named consecutively as one of “The Best CEO of Chinese Listed Companies” by Forbes in 2012 and 2013. He received the inaugural Climate Governance Award in the “Listed Company – Executive Directors” category from The Hong Kong Institute of Directors in 2024.

Professor Wong is a chartered professional accountant of Canada, a certified public accountant of Hong Kong and a chartered company secretary and chartered governance professional in both Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. Professor Wong is an Adjunct Fellow of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, a Fellow of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors and a Fellow of The Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers of the United Kingdom. He completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School in the United States. Professor Wong was a member of the Mainland Business Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, a member of the Advisory Committee and External Advisor of the Career Planning and Development Steering Committee of the College of Professional and Continuing Education, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as well as a Council member of the Vocational Training Council. He is a Council Member of the Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong. He is also the Chairman of the Advisory Board of The Hong Kong Management Association (“HKMA”) Global Centre for ESG Education and Research, a Council Member and a Member of the Executive Committee of HKMA. Professor Wong has over 48 years of experience in corporate finance, management and international working experience.
